Dashboard Guide

A complete guide to the Avatarium dashboard for managing your AI avatars.

Getting Started

Creating Your Account

  1. Go to dashboard.avatarium.ai (opens in a new tab)
  2. Click Sign in with Google
  3. Complete the welcome wizard to set up your account

Welcome Wizard

The wizard helps you:

  • Choose your primary use case (Education, Corporate Training, etc.)
  • Select persona types you'll use
  • Create your first avatar

Dashboard Overview

Navigation

  • Home – Overview of all avatars and recent activity
  • Avatars – Create and manage your avatars
  • Conversations – View chat transcripts and analytics
  • Settings – Account, billing, and preferences

Creating Avatars

Quick Create

  1. Click Create Avatar from the dashboard
  2. Choose a name for your avatar
  3. Select a persona preset:
    • AI Tutor – For course Q&A and explanations
    • Training Coach – For corporate roleplay and coaching
    • Study Buddy – For casual learning conversations
    • Customer Support – For product/service inquiries
  4. Customize the greeting message
  5. Click Create

Persona Presets

Presets configure your avatar's personality and behavior:

Avatar Settings

Personality Tab

Configure how your avatar behaves:

  • System Prompt – Core instructions defining behavior
  • Greeting – First message shown to visitors
  • Persona Preset – Quick templates for common use cases
  • Quiz Mode – Enable knowledge testing

Knowledge Tab

Add content for your avatar to reference:

  • Upload Documents – PDF, DOCX, TXT files
  • Add Text – Paste content directly
  • Manage – View, edit, or delete knowledge items

Voice Tab

Configure voice settings:

  • Voice Selection – Choose from available voices
  • Voice Chat – Enable/disable voice input
  • Sensitivity – Adjust voice detection sensitivity

Embed Tab

Get code to add your avatar to websites:

  • Embed URL – Direct link to your avatar
  • Embed Code – Ready-to-use iframe code
  • Share Link – Public URL for sharing

Security Tab

Protect your avatar:

  • Password Protection – Require password to access
  • Usage Limits – Set conversation limits

Viewing Conversations

Conversation List

The Conversations page shows:

  • Avatar name
  • User email (if provided)
  • Message count
  • Duration
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Summary preview

Conversation Detail

Click any conversation to see:

  • Full message transcript
  • Session summary
  • Topics discussed
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Duration and timestamps

Exporting

Export conversations for analysis:

  1. Go to Conversations
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose format (CSV, JSON)

Analytics

Overview Metrics

  • Total Conversations – All-time conversation count
  • Messages – Total messages exchanged
  • Avg Duration – Average session length
  • Satisfaction – Sentiment-based satisfaction score

Avatar Performance

See how each avatar is performing:

  • Conversation count
  • Popular questions
  • Sentiment breakdown

Account Settings

Profile

  • Display Name – Your name shown in the dashboard
  • Profile Picture – Upload your photo
  • Account Slug – Your unique URL (avatarium.ai/@yourslug)

Billing

  • Current Plan – View your subscription tier
  • Usage – Monitor usage against limits
  • Upgrade – Access more features
  • Invoices – Download past invoices

API Keys

For developers using the SDK:

  • Generate Keys – Create new API keys
  • Manage – View, rename, or revoke keys
  • Permissions – Set key access levels

For Educators

  1. Upload your course materials to the Knowledge Base
  2. Use the AI Tutor preset
  3. Enable Quiz Mode for knowledge testing
  4. Review conversations to improve content

For Corporate Training

  1. Use the Training Coach preset
  2. Add policy and procedure documents
  3. Create roleplay scenarios in the system prompt
  4. Review session summaries for insights

For Customer Support

  1. Upload product documentation
